December was a very busy month with our annual Eye health awareness campaign.
All the items were in Hebrew but we reached thousands of new supporters to Lirot with a very spread campaign on all the media: radio, television, printed journal, articles in main newspapers and online of course.
We published our yearly magazine in print and online with “Haaretz”, the main subject we choose was inherited eye diseases and prof. Tamar Ben Yosef, a genetic researcher at the Technion, was the editor.
We also published a one-minute film on tv about the importance of eye checking, in order to avoid blindness and received many calls and mails for more information.
Our campaign had significant impact on the large public and we are happy that again, this year, as all the former years, we reached new audiences that will take care of their eye health.
