Dr. Borabeck will be researching The Sovereign State and the Recontextualization of Sacred Space.

Congratulations on receiving a 3-year fellowship at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School for Advanced Studies in the Humanities
Dr. Givon will investigate the Society of Jesus’ involvement in the search for overland connections between Europe and China during the seventeenth century.

Dr. Uzlaner did Habilitation in Autumn 2023 at the University of Innsbruck (Austria). The topic of his habilitation was: “From Secularization to Global Culture Wars: Russia as a Laboratory of Postsecularity” (Fakultät für Soziale und Politische Wissenschaften, Universität Innsbruck 2023) – Soziologie.
Dr. Uzlaner has been a senior research fellow in CSoC since the Spring of 2023.
