LOI: NextGen Grants for Transformative Cancer Research

While the research proposed for funding may be basic, translational, or clinical in nature in any area of cancer research, the 2024 TNBCF-AACR NextGen Grant will be awarded only to triple negative breast cancer-focused projects.  

This call seeks groundbreaking cancer research by young investigators, encouraging innovative approaches that may not receive traditional funding. These grants aim to catalyze significant scientific breakthroughs and empower talented researchers to achieve scientific independence.

Eligibility: Held a tenure-eligible assistant professor appointment for a maximum of three years, starting after November 1, 2021.

Budget: $ 450,000 total.  

Duration: 3 years.

National Institute of Health (NIH)
                                             
LOI: Leveraging Data at Scale to Understand Natural Product Impacts on Whole Person Health

This call aims to support the development, adaptation, and/or application of computational tools for analyzing diverse chemical and biological datasets related to natural products. The goal is to generate novel hypotheses regarding their biological activity and their impact on whole person health research.

Budget: $ 500,000 total.  

Duration: 5 years.

Raising Awareness and Promoting Timely Diagnosis of TTR Amyloidosis

The purpose of the call is to support capacity building programs aimed at raising awareness and promoting timely diagnosis of TTR Amyloidosis globally. Projects should focus on reducing diagnosis time, building a global network of healthcare professionals, and improving access to treatment for patients.

Due to the Passover vacation the deadline to the RDA will be earlier than usual

Annual Call for Proposals 2024

NIHP has published their annual call for proposals based on the following general
fields related to:

• Health Policy

• Healthcare Organization

• Health Economics

• Quality of Healthcare

Preference will be given to proposals in thew following specific areas:

• The Physical Rehabilitation System in Israel

• Designing and developing the field of mental health

• Reducing Health Gaps between the Center and the Periphery

Regular Grants: 50,000 NIS – 150,000 NIS total. Duration of 18 months.

Comprehensive Grants: 
300,000 NIS total. Duration of 36 months.

SBE aims to support basic research on various aspects of human social organization and processes. It encourages theoretically focused empirical investigations to enhance understanding of fundamental social processes.
