While the research proposed for funding may be basic, translational, or clinical in nature in any area of cancer research, the 2024 TNBCF-AACR NextGen Grant will be awarded only to triple negative breast cancer-focused projects.
This call seeks groundbreaking cancer research by young investigators, encouraging innovative approaches that may not receive traditional funding. These grants aim to catalyze significant scientific breakthroughs and empower talented researchers to achieve scientific independence.
Eligibility: Held a tenure-eligible assistant professor appointment for a maximum of three years, starting after November 1, 2021.
LOI: Leveraging Data at Scale to Understand Natural Product Impacts on Whole Person Health
This call aims to support the development, adaptation, and/or application of computational tools for analyzing diverse chemical and biological datasets related to natural products. The goal is to generate novel hypotheses regarding their biological activity and their impact on whole person health research.
Raising Awareness and Promoting Timely Diagnosis of TTR Amyloidosis
The purpose of the call is to support capacity building programs aimed at raising awareness and promoting timely diagnosis of TTR Amyloidosis globally. Projects should focus on reducing diagnosis time, building a global network of healthcare professionals, and improving access to treatment for patients.

SBE aims to support basic research on various aspects of human social organization and processes. It encourages theoretically focused empirical investigations to enhance understanding of fundamental social processes.
Budget (for Israeli PI): $80,000 per year for experimental programs. $55,000 per year for theoretical or computer based research.
Stop Cancer is an Israeli non-governmental organization that primarily operates on a voluntary basis to offer relief and support for young oncology patients.
The program is designed to promote cancer research in young adults, with a focus on addressing unique issues, including psychosocial aspects, that affect this demographic.
