Establishing research based on medical data repositories managed according to the international OMOP standard for medical research
»
MOST, in collaboration with the Kinneret Initiative of the Government Medical Centers Division at the Ministry of Health, is working to promote applied research activity in Israel by funding research that addresses scientific questions at the forefront of global knowledge, which have practical and economic potential that could enhance Israel's competitive capacity and position it at the forefront of knowledge.
The goal of this call is to expose researchers in government hospitals in Israel to the international standard OMOP (OHDSI's research data model) and its ecosystem, as a means to promote future international collaborations, while conducting research focused on treatment and clinical processes managed in hospital wards and emergency units.
»
This call is aimed at retrospective research or predictive modeling based on data managed under the international research standard OMOP. Research should be based on data from the Kinneret database. The research topic itself is flexible.
The NATO Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme facilitates dialogue and practical cooperation between NATO member states and partner countries through scientific research, technological innovation, and knowledge exchange. The program supports collaborations among scientists, experts, and officials from both NATO and partner nations to tackle emerging security challenges.

Applications submitted to the
SPS Programme must contribute toward NATO’s strategic objectives and have a clear link to security and should address the following key priorities:
»
Environment, Climate Change and Security * Energy Security * Innovation and Emerging Disruptive Technologies (EDTs) * Counterterrorism * Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) and Explosive Hazards Management * Defense against Hybrid Threats * Resilience * Critical Underwater Infrastructure * Cyber Defense * Assessing and addressing threats posed by the Russian Federation * Strategic Foresight * Human and Social Aspects of Security * Operational
