In this update, labor partner Revital Shprung-Levy and litigation partner Tzahi Halio reviewed the case of an Apple employee in the USA who may find herself facing disciplinary action or even a dismissal procedure following a video she published on the social network Tiktok, and the options available to organizations regarding the activities of their employees on social networks.

 

 

 

The Duty to Notify When Collecting Personal Information and Using it in an AI or Algorithm Based Decision-Making System
In this update, Head of the Competition and Regulation Practice within our Industry and Regulation Department, Amir Vang, and associate Maayan Bronshtein, reviewed a position published by the Privacy Protection Authority on the duty of notification in the context of the collection and use of personal information. The position emphasizes transparency with the subjects of the information and obtaining their informed consent to the provision of information about them.

 

 

 

Accounting Position on the Effects of Inflation and Interest Rate Increase
Against the backdrop of inflation and interest rate increases in Israel and in many countries around the world, the Israel Securities Authority published an accounting position on the effects of the aforementioned changes on disclosure and financial reporting, which is also relevant to disclosure in the Q2 2022 reports. Update Following the Decision of the Economic Court in the Bezeq Criminal Proceeding

The court canceled two of the charges filed in the criminal proceedings opened regarding Bezeq.
