Postdoctoral position and a PhD position
I am looking for highly motivated and qualified applicants for a Postdoctoral position and a PhD position to study lipid metabolism in a model oleaginous diatom Phaeodactylum tricornutum. The 4-year project is funded by the Israeli Science Foundation. It will investigate the dynamics of lipid droplets and its association with autophagy in this diatom, using CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing, transcriptomics and lipidomics. Desirable qualifications: experience in molecular biology techniques, preferably with microalgae; good English writing and communication skills.
