Adv. Vang is Head of the Competition and Regulation Practice within the Industry and Regulation Department. He specializes in competition (antitrust), telecoms and media and regulation in various markets, including regulated financial services, payment services, recycling, food and more.

Adv. Vang possesses unique expertise in all aspects related to competition (antitrust) in Israel, and he and his team accumulated significant experience in the field. In this capacity, they are ranked among Israel’s leading competition and antitrust attorneys by international rankings. Adv. Vang represents his clients in precedential cases in the fields of mergers, monopolies, restrictive agreements and concentration, as well as in relation to the Law for Promoting Competition and Reducing Concentration, 2013 (the “Concentration Law”) and the Promotion of Competition in the Food Industry Law, 2014 (the “Food Law”). Professional articles by Adv. Vang are frequently mentioned in court rulings, including antitrust tribunals and the Supreme Court.

In addition, Adv. Vang possesses expertise in the regulation field, including drafting and implementing strategies relating to legislative proceedings and other regulatory actions; planning for and representation in hearings and before committees; leading approval and license processes for transactions and various actions; and representing in appeals to the Supreme Court. As part of his activity in financial services field in recent years, Adv. Vang advised on the legislative process of the Supervision of Financial Services (Regulated Financial Services) Law, 2016 and the Payment Services Law, 2019, as well as their implementation in the market. In addition, he provides ongoing counsel to recycling corporations and leading food companies regarding various regulatory aspects of their activity.

Adv. Vang advises his clients on building internal compliance programs, including procedures, guidelines and training for all members of the organization.

Adv. Vang possesses unique expertise in the telecommunications and media field in Israel, and is consistently ranked as one of Israel’s leading attorneys in the field by international guides such as The Legal 500, Chambers & Partners and others. He advises leading telecommunications companies on all aspects of their activity, from day-to-day activity to participation in Knesset deliberations and regulatory hearings, drafting proposals for new legislation and reforms, and drafting petitions and representation of clients before all courts and tribunals.

In the technology field, Adv. Vang represents companies, public entities and government ministries in large scale transactions, as well as software licensing, development, infrastructure procurement, outsourcing, cloud computing and tenders. In the past, Adv. Vang served as a software officer in the IDF’s Center of Computing and Information Systems (“Mamram”) and in various positions in the software industry.

Melisron Ltd. - British Israel Investments Ltd.

Representing Melisron Ltd. in obtaining a merger approval for its merger with British Israel. This was one of the largest mergers examined by the Israel Competition Authority.

Handling monopoly matters for The Central Bottling Company Ltd. (Coca Cola Israel), including Israel Competition Authority investigations, monetary sanctions and appeals to the Competition Court.
