Dear friends of Lirot

I hope our yearly wishes for Pessah finds you in good health and safe in those turbulent times.

We want to reach out to you at this challenging time, to extend a hand of friendship and support as we witness all the battle through the COVID-19 Virus

We also particularly acknowledge the level of pain being experienced in New York and Western Europe communities where the virus has spread badly and where losses are high.

News from Lirot

At Lirot, we had to close our eye mobile project but we are already planning to reactivate the project soon, especially for elderly who cannot go to hospital or clinics for eye treatment in those times.

We plan to organize a special service for home eye checkups in the near future.

!Happy Pesach

Pesach, the celebration of freedom for the Jewish people, is coming soon. What will be different about this night from all others? This year it will be clearly different! Around the globe, we will all be gathering around the table with only our immediate, close family at best. Many will have to be alone , some of us will use technology to try to feel connected, but it will be a strange and different holiday.

Together, we can hope for a healthy future.
