Russel Sage Foundation (RSF)

Pipeline Grants Competition


The Russell Sage Foundation (RSF), in partnership with the Economic Mobility and Opportunity program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), seeks to advance innovative research on economic mobility and access to opportunity in the United States.

The Foundation currently accepts proposals that includes exploratory fieldwork, a pilot study, field experiments, in-depth qualitative interviews, ethnographies, or the analysis of existing data.

Heth Academic Research Center for Competition and Regulation 
Call for Proposal on Competition and Patents


The Heth Academic Research Center for Competition and Regulation, a multi-disciplinary academic track of the College of Management, has issued a call for proposals on competition and patents. This call is for the re-evaluation of the scope and boundaries of patents, especially  with the advancement of technology and Information, and as a reference to the relationship between intellectual property and the competition's rules. 

Research may focus on the Israeli Pharmaceutical market, and the influence of patents on
the prices of medicine and the effectiveness of this market. Studies can deal with existing regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.

PCF-Pfizer Global Challenge Awards RFP - LOI


The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) and Pfizer, Inc. are proud to announce the PCF-Pfizer Global Challenge Awards, a competitive, peer-reviewed Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) grants program.


Through this funding mechanism, PCF and Pfizer will support innovative clinical investigations or clinical trial correlative research studies surrounding the use of talazoparib in prostate cancer.

Chan Zuckerberg Initiative 

Collaborative Pairs Pilot Project Awards


The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) invites applications for collaborative pilot projects to explore innovative, interdisciplinary approaches for addressing key challenges in the biology of neurodegenerative diseases.


This Neurodegeneration Challenge Network RFA has three key goals:
  1. Making fundamental advances toward understanding neurodegeneration
  2. Bringing new ideas and talent to the field of neurodegeneration
  3. Encouragment and experiment with a new interdisciplinary, collaborative, and open science research model involving scientists, clinicians, and engineers.

CZI will accept collaboration applications that include two principal investigators (PIs). There will be opportunities to work across collaborative projects, but each collaboration will be limited to two PIs.

Webinar for European collaboration in social sciences


An Information Day on Horizon 2020 calls under the Societal Challenge 6: Inclusive Societies is being organized by the European Commission and will be web streamed.

We plan to broadcast the InfoDay at BGU with the RDA team:

Time: 10:00-13:00

This is an opportunity to get an insight into the different Societal Challenge 6 calls for proposals, covering challenges on migration, socio-economic transformations, and governance. Together with the RDA team, we will discuss possible opportunities under this call and, if needed, give a general presentation on Horizon 2020.
This event is i n addition to the brokerage event in Bratislava, which will be held on 12-13 November.
