The Ministry of Energy - Energy and Earth & Sea Sciences

The Ministry of Energy, through the Office of the Chief Scientist, holds as one of its goals, The preservation and development of the physical, human and technological infrastructures of Israel, while designing and developing tools that will enable the implementation of this policy. 
To promote these targets, the Ministry is interested in receiving research proposals in the field of energy, and earth and sea sciences.

New - The Pablove Foundation - Seed Grant Program (LOI)

The Pablove Foundation invites pediatric cancer researchers to conduct innovative, cutting edge investigations, with preferences going toward less common childhood cancers. In addition, projects that focus on Opsoclonus-Myoclonus Syndrome (OMS), will be considered. 

The Pablove foundation is interested in focusing on research projects in the following broad areas:

The Morton Cure Paralysis Fund (MCPF) - Research Grants   
 
MCPF funds activities that hold the promise to identify therapies (cures) for paralysis associated with spinal cord injury and other disorders of the central nervous system (CNS) in humans.

Heth Academic Research Center for Competition and Regulation  

The Heth Academic Research Center for Competition and Regulation, a multi-disciplinary academic track of the College of Management, has issued a call for proposals on standardization and competition. This call is for economic and legal research projects, aimed at recommending the effective level of regulations, given the needs of competition.

The two main criteria for selection are research excellence and contribution to the State of Israel

BrightFocus Foundation - Alzheimer's Disease Research Grant  

BrightFocus provides funds to researchers pursuing pioneering research leading to greater understanding, prevention, and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.

Preference is made for pilot projects that would not, at their present stage, be competitive for large government or industry awards. Typically, these awards are made to early stage investigators, or to more established investigators who are proposing particularly innovative research.
