The Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation - Causes, Manifestations, and Control of Violence and Aggression
 
The Foundation welcomes proposals from any of the natural and social sciences and the humanities that promise to increase the understanding of the causes, manifestations, and control of violence and aggression. Highest priority is given to research that can increase understanding and amelioration of urgent problems of violence and aggression in the modern world.

Questions that interest the foundation concern violence and aggression in relation to social change, intergroup conflict, war, terrorism, crime, and family relationships, among other subjects.

 Overcoming Obstacles for Nucleic Acid Delivery for Cystic Fibrosis  
 
To better understand the obstacles, limitations, and challenges for developing a permanent cure for CF, the CF Foundation announces a Request for Applications (RFA) to identify and support highly meritorious proposals that significantly advance the capability to accurately and selectively deliver nucleic acid therapies to the lungs and/or disease-relevant cells .
 
To bring new technologies and expertise to the CF field, investigators without experience in CF research are encouraged to apply.
 
Successful proposals will focus on technologies, strategies, tools, and model systems that will advance the efficacy, selectivity, and accuracy of delivering nucleic acid therapies for CF.

The Ministry of Education - Simulation Centers for the Training and Development of Teaching Staff
 
The Ministry of Education through the Office of the Chief Scientist has published a call for proposals for research on the Simulation of training and development of teaching staff.
 
Human capital, in the form of teachers, is the decisive factor in the success of the educational system. 
The Office of the Chief Scientist is seeking to promote a study examining the contribution of simulation to promote the communication skills of early career teachers with students, parents, colleagues, and other functionaries.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a non-profit health agency dedicated to the conquest of hematologic malignancies and relevant premalignant conditions.

 

Translational Research Program (TRP) – LOI
 
The Translational Research Program (TRP) is looking for novel approaches to the prevention, diagnosis or treatment of hematological malignancies and related pre-malignant conditions. Proposals should be based on molecular, cellular or integrated systems findings and be conceptually innovative.
 
Career Development Program (Scholar Category)- LOI

Gateway Discovery Grant in Immunotherapy Research

The Gateway Discovery Grant in Immunotherapy Research is the inaugural grant under the Gateway Discovery Grant Program. This grant will provide funding over three years for a Phase I or Phase II treatment based clinical trial that has the potential to make an impact on patient care and advance clinical practice standards for today's cancer patients.
Conquer Cancer® is the scientific partner for the  Gateway Discovery Grant Program and will provide scientific expertise and peer review.
 
Proposals will be accepted for new ideas that better predict response to immunotherapies. A new indication for an existing therapy will be considered only if particularly compelling evidence is provided in the submission. Proposed research should include a phase 1 or 2 treatment based investigator initiated clinical trial.
