Award of Excellence by a European organization! "strong leadership and
dedicated management team "delivering values to members" "Bridge
Builders"
The Councils of British Chambers in Europe, (COBCOE) awarded the Israel Britain Chamber of Commerce, with an Award for Excellence 2017. It was stated that the IBCC" excelled and demonstrated a real innovative approach”. IBCC was praised for the close cooperation with the Embassies, trade organizations and companies and for activities in the Fintech and Cyberthech areas, alongside Real Estate, financial sectors, SMEs workshops and roundtables, delegations and more "the Israel chamber uniquely demonstrated the value of UK to the member country".
The London City Week 2017
City Week 2017 - The International Financial Services Forum attracted global community of the financial world. IBCC was again a partner this year enabling members to participate with no cost and facilitated registration.
7th Annual International Cyberscurity week
The IBCC was hosting a seminar, on Insurance and cybersecurity. With leading speakers of the industry from Israel and the UK, in partnership with the 7th international Cyber Week 2017, with 200 participants. Key note speaker,Israeli Commissioner of the Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings Mrs. Dorit Salinger said the insurance companies are challengedwith what has become the major threat on businesses .Panel members discussed the ways to address the risk, the availability of defense software and the growing need of relevant insurance.
Exploring Wales opportunities
First ever CFI delegation of Conservatives Members of the Parliament spokespersons and shadow ministers of Wales visited Israel and the West Bank. IBCC President Anita Leviant, hosted the delegation for Dinner with the participation of several IBCC Members from leading business companies in order to explore the potential mutual investment and trade. Russell George AM Spokesperson for Economy and Infrastructure, said, the group gained a much greater understanding of the Israel's challenges but also of the potential of trade and business relations. As a result of the trip, ideas regarding tourism between Israel and Wales and Cyber and Fintech areas will be further explored.
Awarded "Best Restaurant in London"
Big congrats to Barbary Restaurant in Covent Garden London for being awarded as "Best Restaurant in London". Jaggerman Eyal: Head Chef and Co-Owner with Assaf Granit said: It is a great honor to be named London's best restaurant by Time Out.
